Every leg of the storyline missions lowers the avatar threat.
#Xcom 2 war of the chosen standalone mod#
If you ever did mod the game (which you don't.) and decided to mod it out (which some do) you'd realize the game becomes trivial without having some overarching level of doom.įacilities lower the avatar threat. In reality it's the only thing that even adds a minor challenge to overcome. It's ridiculous only in the abstract if you never figure out how it works. Or are not willing to listen or learn from advice. And the people crying about it are either trying to play the game on a higher difficulty level than they have the skill to compete at. Also a shared thought across forums and internet. its been all over forums and internet since release of the game and mechanic itself is seriously questionable. Originally posted by Naked Snake:that avatar clock is ridiculous. I've beaten the game as early as June or stretched it out for 2 in game years, once you know how it works its very easy to manipulate The game is only hard if you rush it and don't pay any attention to how the clock works If you rush the storyline missions early on you will be wasting all of their avatar lowering powers in the early game where you have no need for it When you run out of factories, progress the storyline missions again Then start taking out factories, that will lower the avatar the game isn't that hard and you can juggle the avatar clock easilyĭon't rush the story line missions, wait and build up your forces until you are down to the last pips. Turn the difficulty down or read some guides. I have to assume if its just gonna add new enemy types and faction stores that its only gonna more difficult to enjoy the games content while dealing with avatar clock Originally posted by Naked Snake:As stated up top, is war of the chosen a new campaign or same campaign but with new enemy types spawning in ? cause i still havent been able to beat this game yet due to avatar clock.
